Many of you know, but it is with great sadness and deep sorrow that we share the news of the passing of our beloved founder and father, Victor Nelson on November 29th, 2022. We mourn the loss of a visionary leader, an exceptional inventor, and a source of inspiration for all of us at Sector Microwave Industries.

Vic (as he was known) established Sector Microwave Industries in 1974. His mission was clear: to serve the microwave and RF community by providing high-quality switches. Under his guidance as a CEO and Chief Engineer, the company has grown exponentially, transforming into a respected industry leader known for innovation, quality, and integrity. Vic was a remarkable inventor, who has made a lasting impact on the industry. With 18 patents, Vic brought significant advancements to the field of switches, enhancing their reliability and performance.

Beyond his exceptional engineering and business acumen, Vic will be remembered for his kindness, charisma, and ability to inspire everyone he encountered. He created a culture of collaboration, creativity, and inclusivity, fostering an environment where talent thrived and our company flourished. As we honor our father's legacy, we pledge to carry forward his vision and uphold the values he instilled in Sector Microwave Industries.
